Andrew Gillies:
Andy Gillies is a conference interpreter and interpreter trainer based in Paris. He works from French, German and Polish into English at the European Parliament, the European Patent Office, the European Space Agency... amongst other places.
He teaches interpreting at ISIT in Paris and Glendon MCI in Toronto and has been a visiting trainer at schools in Poland, Germany and Portugal. Andy has also given further training courses (CPD) for interpreters for the European Parliament, the European Court of Justice, AIIC, ATA and other professional associations. He is also a trainer of interpreter trainers.
Andy has written extensively on interpreter training and has published a variety of articles about the profession for industry outlets. He also curates the Interpreter Training Resources https://interpretertrainingresources.eu/ and https://interpreterscpd.eu Interpreters CPD websites.
