Después de la excelente experiencia de diciembre de 2009, en la que se certificaron 14 traductores, el CTPCBA será nuevamente sede de la capacitación presencial intensiva para la certificación 2010.
La capacitación consta de diez módulos de autoaprendizaje en línea y un módulo presencial intensivo con sus respectivos exámenes.
El módulo presencial será del 7 al 10 de septiembre de 9 a 17.30 en el aula informática de la Sede del CTPCBA en la Avda. Corrientes 1834.
Todos los asistentes que aprueben esta capacitación obtendrán el Certificado de Localizador Profesional (CLP) de nivel 1 del TILP.
El costo total de la capacitación es de 300 € (euros).

¿Qué es TILP y el CLP Programme?
The Institute of Localisation Professionals
The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP) has the primary aim of developing professional practices in localisation globally. TILP is a non-profit organisation, owned by its members and lead by a Council elected at its Annual General Meeting. TILP repreÂsents both localisation industry professionals and professionals active in localisation-related areas.
TILP was formally registered as a non-profit organization created "to develop professional practices in localisation globally" on July 30, 2002. In short order, TILP has developed strong industry partnerships and offers a range of membership services. In May 2003, TILP merged with the Professional Association for Localization (PAL) and is now the world's only non-profit industry association based exclusively on individual membership. TILP is the organizer of the Ask the Expert sessions and the Certified Localisation Professional (CLP) programme.
TILP’s primary mission is to develop professional practices in localisation globally. This implies that training has to be accessible, affordable and ongoing. The CLP Level 1 course provides an entry-level course for linguists, engineers and managers combining online and onsite elements with a temporary tools distribution. Tools used during the training and included in the temporary tools distribution are Alchemy Catalyst 8.0 Localizer Edition, SDL Trados 2007 Suite, SDL Trados Studio 2009 SP2, SDL MultiTerm, SDL Passolo 2009 Professional Edition and WebBudget XT 3.9.0.3). Successful participants (CLP participants who achieved a minimum score of 55%) will achieve the TILP CLP certificate, an accreditation that is internationally recognisable by localisation service providers, software vendors and localisation institutions. Once certified, participants will receive a FREE permanent tools distribution including a three-month full licence of WebBudget XT 3.9.0.3 and a full license of Catalyst 8.0 Translator/Pro (list price €499). Furthermore, certified participants could purchase SDL Trados Studio 2009 Service Pack 2 (SP2) including SDL Trados 2007 Suite Freelance edition, SDL MuliTerm 2009 desktop and Passolo Essential for just €99 (list price €845). Participants will also receive a one year Associate Membership of TILP and a one year online subscription to Multilingual.com.
